✔️A private fishing bot I have been working on this for last couple of months, works fully in the background with Wow minimized.
Hi all,
You will all be pleased to hear that there will be a beta version of the bot available to download soon.
This beta release , as all beta releases should be, will be to get feedback and user testing on the sign up, install , bot login process and fishing bot.
This beta will only run for a short period. Once you sign up a 3 day fishing bot subscription will be added to your account, so get fishing!
To be included in the list of users I will be sending beta invites to please email mousewookiesoftware@gmail.com
If you would like to run multiple subscription keys to test running multiple bots on a single computer simultaneously please contact me after you have registered an account so I can setup your additional keys.
Exciting times ahead!
FAQs
1. What are your plans for supporting WoW Classic?
Yes it will be supported. I have managed to get the fishing bot working with the wow classic beta client so the core logic works on classic. The main effort will be creating combat routines...
Depending on how many people are botting classic vs retail and if the two game clients become very different, classic is actually based on the same game client as BFA currently, I will have to reevaluate supporting both versions of the game.
2. Will the bot be free?
No - reasons why detailed in answer to question 7.
3. Can I run multiple sessions with a single subscription key?
No, only 1 bot can be running at the same time on a single subscription key but you will be able to buy multiple subscription keys.
4. How much will a subscription key cost?
There will be 3 different subscription key tiers:
T1 Fishing
T2 Fishing + Grinding
T3 Fishing + Grinding + Gathering
At this point I'm not sure, this is currently just a hobby project and I only get time to work on it over the weekends.
The prices will be based on the level of support I can offer to ongoing development. However the prices will be higher than public bots out there.
5. Does the fishing bot move to pools?
No, possibly something I will look at in the future. One of my first goals with the fishing bot is support mailing and vendoring.
6. When will the grind and gather bots be released?
As it stands the plan is to first get the T1 Fishing bot subscription released. Most of the requests I have been getting are for a fishing bot that works in the background (WoW minimized) so I'm focusing on that first.
Once I have released a live version of the fishing bot I will begin work on the grinding bot and lastly the gathering bot.
7. Do you plan on making the bot public at any point or will it always remain invite only?
I'm not intending for this bot to become huge, I want it to remain a small private community. For this reason there will be a limit placed on sign ups, which is the reason for the sign up code system.
Keeping it small has two main benefits. First, I can offer better one to one support, answering questions more quickly and second safety.
Experienced botters will know that ban waves happen all the time on public bots. There are many reasons behind this but one of the main reasons public bots are targeted by blizzard is because of their large user bases (e.g. Honorbuddy).
8. When did you start work on the bot?
I have invested a lot of time into this project. It started out as something just for myself to pay my Wow subscription.
During first few weeks of BFA launch ran multiple fishing bots across my many accounts to make huge amounts of gold - more than enough to pay WoW sub for over a year on each of them.
This is when I was first contacted by a friend asking for access to my bot... after having him run it and make tons of gold I though why not try a create a proper bot that people can use... and here we are 8 months later!
